Key Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s digital and automation roadmap to maximize operational benefits
• Manage and mentor the ITOT team across automation and IT functions
• Align site strategy with global ITOT direction and platform initiatives
• Oversee deployment and adoption of global digital solutions at site level
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance for all IT and OT systems
• Drive digital upskilling and change management across site teams
• Manage team budget, project pipeline, and vendor coordination

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, automation, engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in automation or IT within a GMP pharmaceutical environment
• Strong understanding of automation systems and IT infrastructure
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and project pipelines
• Demonstrate an agile mindset by setting clear priorities, collaborating openly, and using feedback to make step-by-step improvements – reflecting the core elements of Agile culture within the Dutch organization.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience supporting capital projects and transitioning systems into operations
• Familiarity with vendor coordination and procurement processes in a regulated environment
